November dances in Colchester, VT and Montague, MA!

Hi friends!

We’ve just been booked for a pair of dances the weekend before Thanksgiving, and we hope you’ll join us!

On Friday night, we’re playing an English Country Dance party in Colchester, VT, featuring the calling of Tom Amesse. If you’ve never tried English dance, we encourage you to give it a chance–you might find that its flow and energy are just the thing!

On Saturday, we’ll travel to Montague, MA to play a gender-free contra dance with some old friends. This is a dance that especially welcomes GLBT folks, friends, and allies, so please join us and have some fun!

More information on our Facebook page or the Google Calendar. Thanks!

Burlington, VT: Queen City Contra, September 9th, 2011

Frost and Fire will play Burlington’s Queen City Contra dance on Friday, September 9th, from 8-11 p.m. Orientation for new dancers starts at 7:45 p.m., so please feel free to join us even if you’ve never danced before!

Admission is $8, and children 12 and under dance for free. The dance is at Edmunds Middle School on Main Street in downtown Burlington.

We’ll be joined on stage by Mary Wesley, a caller who keeps the dancers light on their feet while her smile lights the room. Mary was part of Frost and Fire’s first performance, and we love playing with her!

Hope to see you there!
